UCLA Anderson MSBA ’27 · Los Angeles

I treat strategy like a 100m : short, honest, and decided in the last ten meters.

Former UCLA Economics student-athlete and Pac-12 / Big Ten-era sprinter. I build products and models that make recruiting, performance, and money decisions less opaque, starting with The Inside Visit, a private community of verified NCAA athletes.

The splits

Roles in order, like 50m marks. Each one had to produce a number, or a product, that still holds up in daylight.

  1. 01 · 2026 - now

    The Inside Visit

    Founder

Building athlete-to-athlete recruiting intelligence for verified NCAA athletes. Product, community design, and the messy early-stage work of making trust the default.

  2. 02 · 2026 - 2027

    UCLA Anderson

    MSBA candidate

Machine learning, predictive modeling, and data-driven strategy: the technical layer on four years of economics and high-performance sport.

  3. 03 · 2026

    Rocket Lawyer

    AI Product Manager Intern

Translated product and legal-tech data into decisions. Same brief as a heat sheet: cut the noise, keep the splits that change the race.

  4. 04 · 2025

    Hustle Denver

    Data & strategy intern

Performance training org in Colorado. Worked at the intersection of recruiting, coaching, and the numbers athletes actually feel in a session.

  5. 05 · 2024 - 2025

    Católica Lisbon SBE

    AI / ML research assistant

Research with Prof. Domenico Fabrizi on economics in the aviation industry: models, literature, and the discipline of being wrong in public.

  6. 06 · Earlier

    Timewarp Technologies

    BI & sales analytics intern

Sales analytics and business intelligence for a product org: pipelines, reporting, and the story a dashboard refuses to tell until you ask better questions.

Split 03

About

Lane notes

Denver → Westwood. Economics, a stopwatch, and a product for athletes who are tired of guessing.

I grew up in Denver, ran club track with Hustle Denver, and spent four years lettering for UCLA Track & Field while finishing an Economics degree. Collegiate bests: 7.01 (60m), 10.66 (100m), 21.84 (200m). Pac-12 semifinalist. Academic All-Big Ten. The clock is unforgiving, which is useful training for analytics.

The Inside Visit comes from that same itch: recruiting is a high-stakes product with terrible information design. I wanted athletes to hear from athletes, privately, without turning a campus visit into content.

American and German dual citizen. Happiest when a model, a product surface, and a locker-room conversation all agree on the same truth.
